Welcome to DANAmark Solidaritet
We are a newly founded association with the purpose of supporting the victims of the catastrophic floods that took place on October 29 of 2024 in Valencia.

Why are we called DANAmark?
DANA stands for "Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos," which in Danish can be translated as "Isoleret Lavtryksområde i Høje Niveauer." It is a meteorological phenomenon that caused the extensive flooding in Spain. We decided to "play" a little with "DANA" and "Danmark" to create the name DANAmark Solidaritet, symbolizing our dedication to helping the victims of the DANA in Valencia through a strong sense of community and support from Denmark.
We believe that all people deserve access to opportunities, resources and support to rebuild their lives after a crisis.
Our mission
To unite companies, organisations and people from Denmark and Spain on a collaborative platform to support projects with social impact, foster cultural exchange and create networking and development opportunities. Through solidarity campaigns, cultural events and a directory of committed companies, we work together to offer sustainable solutions that improve the lives of those in need..
Our vision
To be a bridge of solidarity between Denmark and Spain, where companies and people collaborate to generate a positive impact on social causes, strengthen cultural ties and promote a future in which international cooperation drives the development and well-being of our community.
